The Department of Education provides specialized teaching in comparative studies, special Education, Educational Psychology, Educational Research and methodology, statistics, communicative and creative writing. Since its inception the department has pioneered in providing quality and has thus able to produced scholars, intellectuals and educationist. Presently three faculties are in the department, with the chairmanship of Dr. Nibedita Nayak, head of the department.
