Under the creative leadership of social reformer Late Karan Singh, Pioneer Education Group founded Pioneer Degree College Pune in 2014. This institution is accredited by the UGC and connected with Savitribai Phule Pune University. It was founded in Pune as the city's first independently funded higher education school and began with a three-year traditional B.A. degree programme before analysing the pressing need for professional and job-oriented programmes to prepare young people for the workforce.
